I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a way or material to provide a more finished look to air brushing. Is there any sort of 'top coat'.
Also, is there anyway to set the paint. On the gingerbread, its not so much of a problem, but when we airbrush fondant, any little drop of water makes the paint run.
Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Have you tried using the 'edible varnish' formula here on the website (in the Recipes section)? I often use this to give a finished, shiny look to gum paste and fondant. It can be a little tricky to get an even coat but the key is use it while it is really warm and therefore still very liquid. If you are looking for more of a 'flat or 'Matt' type finish consider using edible Petal Dust, which is readily available online; just be sure to use Petal Dust that doesn't contain glitter (unless of course that is the effect you are trying to achieve).
Hope this helps.

Thank you, Adam. I didn't see that recipe so that's very helpful. I'll give it a try.
