Title: gingerbread church
Post by: ohb on December 06, 2015, 04:12:34 am
Hi!
I registered just now to see if there was any gingerbread church templates in here, because I just made one on my own. I thought I'd might compare, and get ideas for improvements before baking. I made it of cardboard first, and then I drew it on paper and scanned it. However, I don't seem to have rights up upload anything in here yet...

Best regards from Ola

Hello, I was wanting to do a church gingerbread this year also.   I thought I could take a plain house and modify it to make a church, but unsure about the steeple.  Did you include a steeple in your pattern?  Any advice or ideas? Thanks, and be sure to post a picture when you are done.

Hi  :)
Finally I found out how to upload stuff. Here's 2 pics of the cardboard model, and a pdf of the scanned paper template made by disassembling the model an draw proper lines with a ruler onto paper. I plan to bake the church this weekend. The model assumes quite thin gingerbread, so guess "handle with care" is a slogan for sunday!
