Hello All....In regards to windows, in the past I've used Jolly Ranchers. Any other suggestions to fill windows?

Visit the link below and you can use the same hard candy (poured sugar) recipe, and pour your windows into the cut-out (window) areas of BAKED gingerbread. This is usually how I do it... the syrup is super hot - so be VERY careful... but I like the results.

I haven't had much luck using candy from the store for my windows.. they always seem to melt out of the windows after awhile.. I use the recipe that was posted above with a lot of success

I like gelatine leaves. Gives a lovely diamond effect - great if you have props inside the house
