What a great idea! 

Yes, you can modify patterns, combine patterns, change patterns, etc. I would love to see what you come up with! 

If you are interested in providing your new modified pattern for other's to try, let me know and I can assist with the process.

I have a distinct idea in mind for this years project and was wondering if I can take elements from one pattern and add it to another.  I would of course supply photos of finished project and pattern.  :)
