| Description: 2013 Ultimate Gingerbread Holiday Gingerbread Contest - Entrant This is my replica of the Cape Lookout Lighthouse in NC. It is approximately 1/52 scale. The lighthouse is solid gingerbread (baked in 2 pieces) covered in pastillage. The house is gingerbread with pastillage bricks. The roof is covered with black icing and black sugars. All the rocks are gingerbread tossed in food colorings. The water is isomalt, the waves were created by pulling the sugar as it cooled. The sand consists of cookie crumbs and the sea oats were made with rice paper painted green.
