Description: 2013 Ultimate Gingerbread Holiday Gingerbread Contest - Entrant

Inspired by a porcelain Christmas display house. 100% edible. Structure is gingerbread with gum paste accents. Front window is gelatin with a hand-crafted gum paste Santa figure inside. Holly tree is a candy base with holly-shaped sprinkles. Walkway is gum paste with a brick impression. Flags are spaghetti, royal icing and gum paste. Snow is Royal Icing dusted with lustre dust. Ice sculptures are Isomalt. Cookie men are gingerbread.
