How do you make round towers?
« on: November 11, 2014, 05:43:57 pm »
I am trying to make round towers. I have tried baking my gingerbread over an aluminum can which totally failed. I tried baking the gingerbread and then bending over an aluminum can, also a fail. I can not figure out how to do it. I have heard using a recipe with eggs in it makes the dough more flexible. If you look at the contest pictures from the Grove Park Inn contest from 2007, one contestant created a globe.  If anyone knows how to do this, please let me know.
