How can I make a Gingerbread tree?
« on: September 22, 2019, 09:01:26 am »
I'm trying to make a gingerbread tree that I can mold the trunk and branches in a way that looks realistic. I cannot use man made materials in the finished product because it's for a competition. So anything I use structurally to bake it must be able to be removed at the end. Any ideas?

Are you sure you cannot use non-edible products at all?  The contest rules I've read for a lot of contests say anything visible must be edible, but you can have an infrastructure (such as wire armature) hidden within the structure. I use wire all of the time to support my figures, but it cannot be seen in the finished product.
