Hi,
Can anyone tell me what a good size (ht and width) would be for most contests? I am wanting to get my ideas figured out and some contests don't have their rules out yet. Would 18" be the safe bet? Do many allow 24" or larger?

I'd say your 18" sounds right. Most contests do NOT go up to 24. Grove Park Inn's is a 2ft by 2ft limit however. I have a 13x19 board (Something like that) and it usually serves well for contests
