Title: Stained Glass for Church
Post by: robh on December 12, 2015, 11:36:24 pm
I am doing a gingerbread church this year and want to do stained glass windows.  Rather than melt boiled lollies, is there any way I can colour gelatine leaves  at all or do they soften too much?

I am also interested in the answer to this.  I had planned on trying it later today myself, possibly using small amounts of liquid food coloring.  I'll let you know what I find out.

There is info on p. 8 of this document that leads me to believe it's possible:

Rob,

Yesterday I successfully used gel food coloring to tint gelatin sheets.  Not sure how liquid (or diluted gel) coloring would work, but I might give that a try too.
