| Description: 2013 Ultimate Gingerbread Holiday Gingerbread Contest - Entrant Snow hit the midwest, I couldn't leave my house, and this Peppermint Farmhouse is the result. I wanted to go with a theme when creating it, so I used mostly peppermint for decorations. The windows match the color decor. A little bit of Christmas green spread throughout (and on the ice cream cone tree barely visible in the house window) to round it all off. The siding is piped, the path is peppermint crushed in my blender. I added some dollops of snow and icicles for whimsy. It's a gingerbread house, after all.
